Lianne La Havas names her third album after herself. She wanted to put a lot of personal feelings in her music. Where on (2015) she switched even more between danceable singer-songwriter songs and neo-soul, she now reduces the tempo a bit further. Her soulful voice is beautifully framed by a graceful production, in which there is no superfluous sound. Blood's strings and winds cannot be heard here.
