After the death of saxophonist Michael Brecker in early 2007, Chris Potter is seen as the new torch-bearer of the saxophone. There is also something in it, because like Brecker, he is a virtuoso musician who is at home in many combinations and styles. Follow The Red Line is a live recording of his regular group Underground, featuring Craig Taborn on Fender Rhodes, Adam Rogers on guitar and drummer Nate Smith.
