Matt Schofield can be counted among the top of contemporary European blues guitarists. Schofield's music can be described as blues with a jazzy twist. To lick your fingers. With all the excellent guitar work you would almost forget that Schofield is also a great singer and songwriter. The guitar playing is so flawless that it becomes almost superhumanly scary and thus sacrifices some of the rawness you expect from blues.
