Arjan Ederveen and Tosca Niterink became known as the Villa Achterwerk duo Theo & Thea, with which they recorded a large number of programs. Kreatief Met Kurk was their second big hit and was broadcast by VPRO in 1993 and 1994. The faintness of emerging course programs was made fun of (Creative With Cardboard) and sketches and films were made around a varying theme. Recurring statements such as
… 'the basic material of today is cork' and 'always cut it off' were widely adopted in popular speech. This DVD series consists of three DVDs, with the first thirteen episodes.
