Nana Kimati Dinizulu (27 September 1956 – 7 July 2013) was an American virtuoso percussionist, widely acclaimed for his artistry with African percussion (including apentemma, apente, sankofa, kyene, djembe, and caxixi). He wrote works in the areas of jazz, folk, classical, popular, ballet, and musical theater.
