The jobs created group Voz De Cabo Verde was the pioneer in the field of international spread of Cape Verdean music. The group existed only briefly, from 1966 to 1970, but also solo individual members have meant a lot to the Cape Verdean music. Voz de Cabo Verde consisted of Luis Morais (clarinet, saxophone), Morgadinho (trumpet, vocals, bass guitar), Frank Cavaquinho (percussion), Toy Ramos (guitar)
… and Jean da Lomba (bass). Later the singer Djosinha was added to the group and also the organist-pianist Chico Serra. For four years, joined the group in the popular ballroom Rotterdam club La Bonanza. Regularly traveled Voz De Cabo Verde off the Benelux, France, Portugal, the United States, Cape Verde and other Portuguese-speaking African countries.
