Bram Vermeulen undertook a promising career as a volleyball on to establish together with Freek de Jonge Holland's Hope. With that group made the duo pioneered by from rock to add effects to the Dutch cabaret tradition. After Holland's Hope fell apart in 1979, Vermeulen took refuge in music, including his band The Toekomst.Vermeulen received an Edison Award in 1981 for his album Do Not The Only One,
… but he was most successful in Flanders. A play about the First World Vermeulen performed only once in the Netherlands, but withdrew in Belgium for a year full houses. Vermeulen was a charismatic performer who could thunder with his voice as fluisteren.Zijn songs have been performed by Ernst Jansz, Pierre Duijll and rapper Akwasi. Bram Vermeulen died in 2004 during his vacation to a cardiac arrest.more
