Poet and writer Patti Smith enjoys early seventies already known in the New York underground with her energetic poetry readings. For years, they then disappear from the scene in order to devote himself to her husband Fred "Sonic" Smith (MC5) and their children. Only after the death of Smith in 1996 they will return to the music front with Gone Again. Despite personal tragedy preceded the singer sounds this stronger and more inspired than ever. Patti Smith was the first singer to her femininity and unadorned with androgynous power connected with personal obsession and spirituality.
