The rock band The Dandy Warhols was founded in 1994 in Portland and consists of singer / guitarist Courtney Taylor, keyboardist Zia McCabe, guitarist Peter Holmstrom and drummer Eric Herford. Musically the band is influenced by groups like The Velvet Underground, Ride and The Rolling Stones.
