The ever-living progressive dinosaur Yes has released many DVDs in recent decades with new performances of the repertoire of yesteryear. … December 1972 at London's Rainbow Theater, three months after the release of their opus magnum Close To The Edge. Here we see the young and eager Yes with repertoire of the three successful albums they had released in less than two years: Yes Album, Fragile and Close To The Edge. Especially guitarist Steve Howe steals the show with his breakneck guitar playing, next to the classically trained keyboardist Rick Wakeman (in his crazy glitter cape). But above all, it is wonderful to see the young Yes play on a relatively small stage before the growing success brought them to the stadiums. This special edition adds an extensive documentary.
