With the two complete concerts on this double DVD, fans of Jewel will have the chance to see how the singer is doing. The concerts were recorded during two different shows. On DVD 1 we see how the singer performed in February 2007 not far from her own ranch in Dallas. On stage only the singer with her slightly hoarse voice and her acoustic guitar. Halfway through the show, she is also assisted by
… a professional but anonymous backing band. The second DVD was recorded five months later at the Rialto Theater in Joliet, Illinois. Again, most of the show is a solo performance by the singer, but in the last eight songs she is accompanied by a chamber orchestra. Visually very little happens on this DVD. Due to the lack of interesting extras (only one video and an interview), this DVD has hardly any added value over a live CD. But with a playing time of no less than four hours, Jewels fans will not get bored in the coming winter months. (PdK)more
