Although the three gentlemen of ZZ Top have not released a new album for some time, they are not forgotten by their Dutch fans. Not much has changed in ZZ Top's universe over the years. The vocals of frontman Billy Gibbons may be a bit lower than they used to be, but by and large it is still the dirty barblues band of the seventies that we hear on Live In Texas. The big hits (Legs, Sharp Dressed
… Man and Gimme All Your Lovin ') will of course all be played, but fortunately the trio does not forget to play songs from perhaps their best album Tres Hombres. The absolute bouncer is the eight-minute version of La Grange in the encore. (PdK)more
