Singer Ruth Jacott has grown up singing Dutch repertoire, with a hip jacket of modern R&B, soul and pop. In 1993 she took sixth place at the Eurovision Song Contest with Vrede, and the duet Stay With Me with Paul de Leeuw became a classic. This DVD contains the show A Touch Of Latin with which Jacott visited theaters for several seasons. In Jacott's words it was a show 'with a touch of rumba,
… a little samba, a drop of Portuguese, some Surinamese and a good dash of Dutch, because that's what people come for of course'. Her Dutch-language successful songs were interspersed with swinging Latin songs from South America. Colorful and stylish costumes, a varied show with excellent performances by dancers and musicians; Jacott turns all her concerts into a fun happening.
