… performances and live images have been collected for the first time. As spectacular as their musical development was, so special was their outward metamorphosis, from neat mods to flamboyant rockers. Most special images are those of Woodstock - live versions of Pinball Wizard and See Me Feel Me - neither of which were featured in the famous film about the festival. There is even a performance recorded in the Netherlands, a performance of Magic Bus during the 1973 Pop Gala in a Voorburg sports hall. After the death of drummer Keith Moon in 1978, the band had lost a substantial part of its appeal, as evidenced by the three clips from the early eighties that are included as extras. (MS)more
