The eighties were the years of great success for the British metal band Def Leppard. The albums Pyromania and Hysteria were million sellers and songs like Animal and Love Bites became big hits. In 1992 the album Adrenalize and the single Let's Get Rocked succeeded one more time, but after that the commercial success was over, despite the 1996 released Slang. Three years after that CD, Def Leppard
… is back with Euphoria and nothing has changed. The band still relies on the pop / metal crossover sound that was so successful in the eighties. Everything is back: the almost (too) perfect production, the as always crystal clear choirs (Promises), the heavy metal riffs (Demolition Man), the poppy ballads (Goodbye) and the somewhat childish-like roarers (Back In Your Face).
