It takes a little effort to place singer Chezere is in a box. A multitude of music styles pass in review on her debut CD "Upfront ... and personal". Sometimes she sounds like Neneh Cherry (ao "I'm not blind") and in the somewhat brighter songs she sounds like Skin by Skunk Anansie (ao "Plastic woman").
