Bob Savenberg was the drummer for the Belgian band Clouseau. In 1996 he decided to leave the band and start a solo career. "Fire and flame" is the first result of this. The CD contains a dozen Dutch pop songs, most of which were written by Bob Savenberg himself. On this album he is accompanied by his regular backing band De Kato's. Raymond van het Groenewoud plays the harmonica on "In my head". From
