Deep Purple consists of Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Jon Lord and Steve Morse on this CD. The latter has a great reputation as a guitarist with groups such as Dixie Dregs and Kansas and leaves a solid mark on this album. The group sounds on Purpendicular as usual; straightforward rock with solid guitar parts with the occasional Jon Lord organ, well known from Deep Purple. Also on this album
