A goldmine of beautiful narrative songs in the bluegrass genre from American singer-songwriter and guitarist Molly Tuttle. The inspiration for the repertoire came during a year of touring with - for the first time - her own band Golden Highway. All are musicians who are very experienced and virtuosic on typical bluegrass instruments such as mandolin, banjo, fiddle and double bass. Dobro player
Jerry… Douglas was the album's co-producer. Tuttle wrote the songs largely with her partner Ketch Secor (of Old Crow Medicine Show). Quiet ballads as well as a typical bluegrass "train song" and uptempo songs about love, legalizing marijuana, the gold rush in California and touring the beautiful American countryside. (SvdP)more
