On their debut , this British band sounded a lot like / . Yet the group managed to bring a nice mix of blues rock and seventies influences. On their fifth album Love Is All You Love, Russell Marsden and Emma Richardson have found a new drummer in Julio Dorio, who will succeed Matt Hayward. Along with producer ( , , ) this album has become the most poppy of the trio so far. Slightly misleading,
… with an opening track called Carnivorous. Band Of Skulls doesn't really put its teeth into it on this album. With the smoothing of the rough edges, most of the tension has faded from the tire. (JvQ)more
