… material from those Berlin albums with tried and tested rock songs like Five Years, Ziggy Stardust and The Jean Genie during the shows. A combination that turned out wonderfully organically and that year also enraptured the public in Ahoy 'in Rotterdam. Welcome To The Blackout is a nice addition to (the superior) Stage. Where the last album brings together the best of those shows (in an order adapted to the record), we now hear the complete concert of the sobered Bowie with top band during one of the strong periods of his career.
