Sweet Angel even has the potential of a ballad à la Little Wing, but turns out to be nothing more than an instrumental sketch. Special are the two songs where Hendrix provides the accompaniment for . For a Hendrix fan, every guitar note he played will always be essential. But Hendrix also broke new ground in the studio and created three rich, psychedelic studio albums full of beautiful songs during his lifetime. Unfortunately Both Sides Of The Sky can't match that either. (MR)more
