Singer Maan de Steenwinkel won The Voice of Holland in 2016. A year later she was very successful in the TV programs and Dance Dance Dance. So Maan can safely be labeled as a talented lady. This is also evident from her debut album AM / PM. The twenty-something from Alkmaar delivers a solid pop album that gives a lot of hope for the future. On AM / PM she sounds like an adult singer who feels good
… about herself and who brings the (tropical) dance tracks with great pleasure. Winners of talent shows sometimes want to redo their won final. However, a pop album is different from a television show. Maan and her producers understand that. At AM / PM it's mainly about the songs, not about beautiful singing. Even without epic orchestras and hysterical outbursts, you can hear that she is an excellent singer. For the people who still want to hear the Moon from TV, there are the bonus tracks that have all been released as singles before. (JE)more
