Infinite is the title of Deep Purple's 20th studio album. A somewhat ironic title, because the guys from Deep Purple realize all too well that they don't have eternal life. Yet the group in 2017 sounds remarkably inspired and lively. (guitar) and (keys) may be less well known than their famous predecessors, but as true team players, they make the three old-timers in the group ( , and ) shine
… old-fashioned. The artwork in the CD booklet nods to Purple's classic record from 1970. Not without reason, because the people who lost their hearts to the swinging hard rock of the band are not disappointed by Infinite. The group does not have the infinite life, but when they keep making albums like this, their name and fame are not quickly forgotten. (PdK)more
