Twice the undersigned saw Angel Olsen perform so far: at the end of 2014 in a small hall in Brussels (when we were both a little ill), two years later in the main hall of 't Paard in The Hague. In the meantime, the American singer / songwriter has undergone a true metamorphosis: from a timid duckling with two anonymous accompanists to a confident swan leading an adult band - including a backing
… singer. The second concert was undeniably better, but still ... It is logical that you also hear this development on her three regular albums, but it is a bit of a swallow for the fans of the first hour. Who secretly prefer to think back to that concert in Brussels, when the American, among other things, through the unknown, bit of -like May As Well sniffled.
