The record sounds like we are used to from television: somewhat melancholic rockabilly complete with vintage guitars, double bass backslaps and Danny Vera's characteristic Chris Isaak-like vocals. Some songs have a string arrangement, which may seem superfluous at first, but which just completes the whole. The group of listeners grows by the week and they are now discovering what the fans of the first hour knew for a long time: Danny Vera is an excellent singer and his songs deserve to be heard.
