Three members of the group earned their spurs in the grunge group Creed, but it is mainly the echoing hard rock voice of Myles Kennedy that colors the music of Alter Bridge. Just listen to the power rock ballad Lover. Alter Bridge doesn't seem to fit into the musical landscape of 2013, but perhaps the group can make good use of it. Bring on that big hard rock hit.
