The album ONIFC (Only Nigga In First Class) is already the fourth album by Wiz Khalifa. He opens the record by saying he has enough weed to enjoy all his life. He's hugely successful, so why should he think about his health? As the album progresses, he kills the gun factor little by little. He sounds like a small child with a lot of pocket money inside a candy store, laughing loudly at the children
… outside. Wiz insists he works hard and deserves the success, but why doesn't he stick with the slick synth productions anymore? They offer him enough space for that. Maybe it is the weed that ensures that his perspectives in terms of content and flow remain so one-dimensional. Nicki Minaj is a welcome guest on this record, which is not badly put together, yet not succeeded by a somewhat absent (read: stonede) protagonist. (GL)more
