Steen has a fondness for everything that is wretched and wicked. By means of raps that are bursting with bad humor, he presents himself as a beer-drinking and coke-sniffing freak with suicidal tendencies. The rapper has been releasing records under his own management since 2006, and is a remarkable asset to the Dutch hip-hop scene. Listeners are advised not to take Steen's statements too seriously,
… as his music can be perceived as offensive. Likewise, on the Music For Your Mother record, all bourgeoisie is thrown overboard and the listener gets a fair amount of swear words. The CD starts off strong and promising, but after fourteen tracks, one cannot but conclude that it all sounds pretty monotonous. Remarkably enough, the productions are full of gabber influences, but are often not catchy. Steen sounds fierce, but not at all musical, which makes it more difficult to bear his statements.
