With the previous album Miss Machine, Dillinger Escape Plan divided the fans from the very beginning. This third album also loosens up the tongues in the world of math metal. … to the maniacal live shows. Perhaps that intense work ethic is the reason that the band members come and go. Guitarist Ben Weinman is now the only original band member. Just before the recording of this album started, drummer Chris Pennis left for Coheed And Cambria. His replacement Gil Sharone proves to be a worthy successor. The same can also be said about Ire Works. The short songs are still packed with riffs, fills and breaks.
