The Westlife website proudly states that we are dealing with a very large band here: in their nine years of existence they have already sold 36 million albums and scored no less than fourteen UK number-1 hits, only Elvis and The Beatles had more. Their previous CD The Love Album sold a million copies, and although it came out in the same week as the collectors of U2, Oasis and The Beatles (Love),
… Westlife beat them all to reach that coveted number 1 position. These are impressive numbers and performances of a band that, surprisingly enough, never really managed to reach the absolute top in the Netherlands. The ninth studio album of the Irish foursome has been given the title Back Home and opens with a cover of Michael BublĂ©'s Home. This sets the tone.
