There is currently no country in the world where Kamelot is more popular than the Netherlands. Their latest album Ghost Opera made it to the top 100 of best-selling albums, without any significant attention from the press or clip channels. Ghost Opera is already the eighth album by the metal band from Tampa, Florida. In contrast to previous albums, Ghost Opera is less often called upon by well-known
… guest musicians. Why actually? With the former opera singer Roy Khan, the band has a cannon in the ranks. New to the line-up is the German keyboardist Oliver Palotai. This does not have many consequences for Kamelot's sound. The band still plays a powerful mix of power metal with elements from progressive rock. Like the previous album, The Black Halo, Kamelot recorded Ghost Opera in Germany. Anyone who had already taken this quintet with The Black Halo to their heart will not be disappointed. (PdK)more
