Sometimes a band with its name knows how to cover everything completely. The American And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, just like that name, sounds pompous and muscular but not devoid of humor. … listener away with a symphonic post-rock sound; dynamic and log of rhythm. Between all that violence, singers Jason Reece and Conrad Keely sometimes only just find space for their singing parts. So Divided even includes a cover of Guided By Voices (Gold Heart Mountain Top Queen) but at its most powerful the group is in the repetitive, cinematic themes that sometimes seemingly take over the songs out of nowhere.
