Remco Veldhuis and Richard Kemper do not consider themselves the best singers in the Netherlands, and certainly not the best comedians in the Netherlands. However, the talent of the former advertisers lies in the catchy way in which they put recognizable events and feelings into words. On the album Wat Heb Je Nodig, Kemper sings the beautiful song Ik Heb 'n Son and Veldhuis sings about his brand new bride in Ik Geef Mij Aan Jou. The songs and arrangements gradually got their final shape during the theater tour Hitsig. No more studio musicians: on this album the well-attuned band members accompanied Veldhuis & Kemper.
