The Cooper Temple Clause (TCTC) debut album was received as a revelation in England. And indeed See This Through And Leave, despite its clear English roots, was an extremely original record. TCTC has now taken a clear step forward with Kick Up The Fire And Let The Flames Break Loose. … to experiment. In that respect the band certainly has similarities with Radiohead and also musically Kick up The Fire… sometimes reminds of that. You could say that the hard edges are a bit off, but the beautifully worked out song, taken care of down to the smallest detail, offers more than enough compensation. Nice record. (RWK)more
