Volume 2 comes Everchanging Times: Burt Bacharach
… Songbook III will be released. With classics, lesser known songs and two songs that Oosterhuis was allowed to record first: A Thousand Things That Were You and Every Other Hour. The album was recorded during the pandemic. The 52 musicians of the Metropole Orchestra sat neatly within 1.5 meters of each other in the large halls of the Muziekcentrum van de Omroep in Hilversum. From America, producer and arranger Vince Mendoza and Bacharach watched via Zoom. Bacharach saw it right: his repertoire fits her like a glove.
