In order not to miss anything of the festivities around the 50th anniversary of the bossa nova, the German trumpet player Till Brönner boarded a plane to Rio de Janeiro. There he gathered not only local bossa specialists, but also organist Larry Goldings and the vocal talents of Vanessa da Mata, Melody Gardot, Annie Lennox, Aimee Mann, Sergio Mendes and Milton Nascimento to work on the Great

At Café Com Pao he even dares to be heard through his vocal cords. That also sounds like a born and bred Brazilian. (AD)more
