Banjo player Béla Fleck and pianist Chick Corea are both considered groundbreaking artists in their respective fields, bluegrass and jazz, respectively. They first played together in 2006, leading to the interesting
The Enchantment (2007) and the subsequent live album
Two (2015). Despite their different backgrounds, the duo sounds completely connected. Both musicians possess an exceptional ability

In 2019, the duo went on tour again, for which they prepared some new material (such as Enut Nital and Remembrance). During that tour, much of Remembrance was recorded. But even after that - during the Corona lockdowns - Fleck and Corea continued to work on new material. Corea died in 2021, so the album, in addition to being a collection of new material, serves as a memorial album - hence the title. (JV)more
