Trumpeter Randy Brecker's own CDs often had quite a few downsides. It immediately won an American Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Album. Rightly so, because with the successful mix of Brazil jazz and fusion, this is one of Brecker's best albums, perhaps his very best. (HB)more
