As a 13-year-old teenager, Bireli Lagrene sounded like a duplicate of Django Reinhardt. Not a bad guitarist to be compared to, but Bireli was so shocked by this that he then turned to fusion and rock. Thirteen songs were recorded, ranging from Time After Time by Cindy Lauper to Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and from Road Song by John Montgomery to Lookin Up by Michel Petrucciani. The acoustic guitar playing of both guitarists is technically advanced and the interaction provides beautiful and sometimes comical moments.
