Canvas is an American alternative rock band originally formed in San Francisco, California (and later based in Austin, Texas) whose active period was from 1993 to 2005. For most of their history the lineup has been Joseph King (guitar, lead vocals), Julian Mandrake (lead guitar), Ben Rada (rhythm guitar), Brad Byram (bass, backing vocals), and Scott Thomas (drums).
